Ad Gentes Missions with Particular Consideration to the Franciscan Mission in Uganda
The speaker will present the activities of the church and the Catholic mission in Uganda in the context of the work of Polish missionaries in the world.

Father Bogusław Dąbrowski, born in Nowy Sącz, has been a member of the Conventual Franciscan Order of the Province of Kraków since 1986. In 1993, he defended his master's thesis in the psychology of religion. In the same year he was ordained a priest and was sent to parish work in Przemyśl. In 1998-2000 he undertook postgraduate studies at the Catholic University of Lublin in the field of psychology and psychotherapy. Father Bogusław has the certifications of a ski and canoe instructor, which he used to work with young people, organizing numerous retreats and camps in the bosom of nature. In 2000, he organized the National Bicycle Pilgrimage to Rome, under the patronage of the Speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Maciej Płażyński and Cardinal Franciszek Macharski. In 2001, he left for a village in the Kakooge bush, where he was a pioneer and co-founder of the Franciscan mission in Uganda. In 2013, he defended his doctorate at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. He worked on the mission in Uganda until September 2020. He is a member of the Franciscan Scientific Society at Our Lady of the Angels Province USA, where she has been working since 2021.
He is the author of books on African topics: Burn a Passport (2015) and Breath of the Sun (2021) and many articles.
